Scholastic Announces 5th Installment in The Hunger Games Series

Fans of The Hunger Games have a new book to look forward to, as Scholastic has announced Suzanne Collins’ latest installment to the series, Sunrise on the Reaping.

Fans have been theorizing for years whether Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games, had any more books on the horizon after the surprising announcement of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which was released in 2020. Finally, those questions have been answered, with the announcement of Sunrise on the Reaping, which will be the fifth installment in the series.

A NEW Hunger Games novel by Suzanne Collins coming March 18, 2025! Sunrise on the Reaping will revisit the world of Panem twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.

Sunrise on the Reaping is set to release March 18th 2025.
